विहिबार देखि पोखरामा हङकङ व्यूटि यू–१९ महिला ह्याण्डबल प्रतियोगिता हुने

पाेखरा । प्रथम हङकङ व्यूटि १९ बर्ष मुनिका खेलाडीहरु सहभागि (यू–१९) महिला ह्याण्डबल प्रतियोगिता भोलि (विहिबार) देखि पोखरामा हुने भएको छ ।

कास्की जिल्ला ह्याण्डवल संघको आयोजनामा, नेपाल ह्याण्डबल संघको प्राबिधिक सहयोगमा यही मंसिर १५ गतेसम्म पोखरामा उक्त प्रतियोगिता हुने भएको संघका जिल्ला अध्यक्ष एवं प्रतियोगिताका संयोजक क्या. जगबहादुर गुरुङले बताए ।

पोखरामा रहेको हङकङ व्यूटि ईन्स्टिच्यूट प्रा.लि.को मुख्य प्रायोजनमा लिग कम नकाउटका आधारमा पोखरामा हुने उक्त प्रतियोगितामा ६ टिमको सहभागिता रहेको संयोजक गुरुङले जनाए । विजेताले १० हजार र उपबिजेताले ५ हजारको साथमा ट्रफी मेडल प्रमाण–पत्र प्राप्त गर्ने भएकाछन। समुह ए तर्फ लिट्र्स प्ले ह्याण्डवल, लिटिल स्टेप र रेन्वो एकेडेमी रहेकाछन भने समुह बि तर्फ पोखरा एकेडेमी, न्यू–ग्यालेक्सि र माउन्ट अन्नपुर्ण रहेका छन।

भोलि (विहिबार) उद्घाटन खेल लिट्र्स प्ले ह्याण्डवल बिरुद्ध लिटिल स्टेप बिच हुने भएको संघ कास्कीका सचिव टेक बहादुर गुरुङले बताए । उनका अनुसार विहिबार लिग चरणका ४ वटा खेल हुने भएको छ ।

पोखरामा हालै करिब एक करोडको लागतमा निमार्ण भएको ह्याण्डबल एकेडेमीको मैदानमा उक्त प्रतियोगिता हुने भएको हो ।

उक्त प्रतियोगिताबाट उत्कृष्ट खेल प्रर्दशन गर्ने खेलाडीहरुलाई राष्ट्रिय स्तरको खेलमा समेत सहभागि गराउन सकिने भएको नेपाल ह्याण्डवल संघका केन्द्रिय अध्यक्ष तेज बहादुर गुरुङले बताए ।

9th Women’s and 18th Men’s National Handball Championship kicks off

The 9th Women’s and 18th Men’s National Handball Championship has begun at Pokhara Stadium from Wednesday.

Seven teams each from the male and female groups of five development regions, the Armed Police Force and Nepal Army have participated in the championship organized by the District Handball Association, Kaski with support from Nepal Handball Association. The Hong Kong Beauty Institute is the main sponsor of the championship.

Teams coming out first, second and third in the championship will get Rs 30,000, Rs 20,000 and Rs 10,000, trophy, medal and certificates, respectively.

Central Chairman of Nepal Handball Association Tej Gurung said that the best players would be selected from the championship for 13th South Asian Games scheduled to be held in Nepal in 2019. The Championship will run till January 6

Nepali handball team off to Pakistan

Kathmandu, March 8

A 41-member Nepali handball team on Thursday left for Pakistan to compete in the IHF Trophy slated for March 10-15 in Faisalabad.

Nepal U-19 and U-21 teams will compete in the event to be participated in by hosts Pakistan, Nepal, India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Oman, Afghanistan, and Bhutan.

Keshab Bista, Jitendra Gurung, Pravin Tamang, Kadam Chalise, Shiva Bishwokarma, Rohit Gurung, Manoj Pun, Milan Gharti Magar, Lopsag Tamang, Bhuwan Bahadur Shahi, Sushan Pariyar, Dipsan Magar, Mack Pun and Prabesh Karki are the members of the U-19 team. Likewise, Saroj Singh, Bikash Bista, Bipin Shrestha, Prabhan Kumar Shahi, Mahesh Puri, Mahendra Pun, Ishwor Roka, Sarunman Shrestha, Ashish Adhikari, Sachin Tandukar, Anish Gurung, Sajan Pariyar, Sabin Magar and Dheeraj Chaudhary are in U-21 squad.

Coaches Pitamber Acharya, Ramesh Shrestha, Tek Bahadur BK, Himal Raj Dahal and Krishna Shakya along with manager Shambhu Paudel and Nepal Handball Association President Tej Bahadur Gurung also accompanied the players to Pakistan.

Meanwhile, Nepal Olympic Committee President Jeevan Ram Shrestha bade farewell to the team on Thursday.

18th Men’s and 9th Women’s National Handball Championship from Jan 1

Pokhara, Dec 27: The 18th Men’s and 9th Women’s National Handball Championship under National Sports Council Cup is going to be held at Pokhara Stadium from January 1-4.

At a news conference organized here today, Central Chairperson of Nepal Handball Association, Tej Gurung, said that male and female teams from all five development regions, Armed Police Force and Nepal Army would participate in the Championship.

District Handball Association, Kaski, is organizing the Championship under auspicious of Nepal Handball Association where Hong Kong Beauty Institute is the main sponsor.

First, second and third winner teams would bag Rs 30,000, Rs 20,000 and Rs 10,000 respectively along with a trophy, medal, and certificate.

Chairperson Gurung said that the best players would be selected for 13th South Asian Games (SAG) from this Championship. 13th SAG is scheduled in Nepal in 2019.
